How to Lose Weight Through Ayurveda?

Ayurveda sees obesity as the root cause of many of our body's ailments. Hence, to cure the body of the many diseases plaguing it, Ayurveda recommends not only natural medicines but also a radical shift in the way in which we lead our lifestyles. Our diet is one example which sees such an overhauling. Read on to know more about how it does so.

Don't Gain Weight
Ayurvedic diets are formulated based on an ayurvedic food chart. The chart itself is a creation based upon your body type. If you eat according to the recommendations of this food chart then you will not gain weight at all. Further, your grocery bill would also come down drastically.

One of the major emphases of this food chart is that one should eat but not over-eat. Hence, regular meal portions are to be had always and a gap in between two meals has to be maintained. If you eat uncontrollably or there is little or no gap in between two meals then there would be an excess of fat in your body which would then be stored inside the same.
